Qualifications

• Must understand transport compliance and drivers hours rules.
• Full C+E (Class 1) HGV licence with no points; min 5 years on‑the‑road experience.
• Industry Driver Assessor certificate; up‑to‑date HGV Driver CPC and Digi card.
• Proficiency in tachograph analysis and standard IT tools; familiarity with Microlise/EPOD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct driving assessments for new and existing drivers; arrange targeted retraining as needed.
• Deliver both on-road and classroom training, including driver CPC modules.
• Collaborate with Depot Managers, Fleet Compliance, HSE, and HR to monitor compliance and safety.
• Support investigations into incidents and review driver performance and tachograph data.
• Promote continuous improvement and cross‑department collaboration for safer operations.
