NewCold Transport Limited in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to uphold safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within the driver workforce. You will assess, train, and support both newly recruited and long-standing drivers, ensuring adherence to standards and continuous development.

Key duties include conducting assessments, maintaining training materials, handling infringements, and collaborating with the Transport team to manage incidents and documentation.

Competenze

• Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Transport, Logistics or related discipline.
• Driver CPC Instructor certification (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in driver training or driver assessment.
• Experience within transport compliance/regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with driver management systems such as Tachomaster.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver training for new starters during recruitment and induction.
• Ensure training delivery complies with all relevant legal requirements.
• Update and improve training materials to keep driver competencies current.
• Manage driver infringements with debriefing, retraining, or escalation as needed.
• Guide and support the driver pool to promote ongoing development and best practice.
• Assist with post-incident retraining and assessments as required.
• Collaborate with the Transport team to handle time-sensitive incidents and documentation.
• Perform daily Gate Checks on drivers and vehicles to uphold safety standards.
• Use Tachomaster to monitor driver compliance, licence validation, and eyesight checks.
