Job summary

The Transport Operations Trainer at C&C Group will lead driver assessments, identify training needs and deliver on-road and classroom training across depots. You will work with regional and national teams to ensure compliance with tachograph rules, Working Time Directive and safety standards.

You'll hold a full C+E licence with five years' on-road experience, Driver Assessor certificate, HGV CPC and Digi card.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of transport compliance requirements and drivers' hours regulations.
Full C+E (Class 1) HGV licence with no points and at least five years on-road experience.
Holder of Driver Assessor certificate, up-to-date HGV CPC, Digi card; proficiency in tachograph analysis and MS Office.
RTITB certification and prior driver assessment/instruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct driving assessments for new and existing drivers and arrange retraining as needed.
Deliver C&C-specific Driver CPC training and vehicle familiarisation sessions.
Address tachograph rules, Working Time Directive queries, and safety toolbox talks.
Maintain training records and coordinate inductions with Depot/Operations teams.
Collaborate with HSE, Transport Managers, HR and external bodies.
