Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Exeter is seeking a Driver's Mate to support our drivers in delivering goods safely and on time. The role involves early start patterns, working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, and a permanent full-time contract.

You will coordinate loading, assist with unloading at licensed premises, communicate with the transport team, and use an electronic handheld device to complete required processes. ACat B driving licence is desirable; 6 points maximum applies.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit due to manual handling.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Able to perform basic maths calculations.
• Full valid driving licence Cat B; no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the picking/loading of alcohol onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery.
• Assist driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises.
• Stay in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems.
• Complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device.
