Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Driver's Mate to assist our drivers in delivering goods safely and on time from Exeter. This role involves manual handling, loading and unloading at licensed premises, and keeping in touch with the transport team to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Physically fit as the role involves manual handling.
• Good organisational skills to manage your workload.
• Able to perform simple maths calculations.
• Full driving licence Cat B desirable; no more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol onto your vehicle prior to delivery.
• Accompanying and assisting the driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises.
• Staying in touch with the transport team to report issues.
• Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device.
