Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a dedicated driver to join our Avonmouth team, responsible for collecting and moving waste from planned locations and ensuring paperwork is completed daily. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and Veolia benefits.

You will operate 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, hold a Class 2 license, CPC, and a Digi Tachograph Card, and contribute to safe, compliant waste management across local communities.

Qualifications

• Essential Class 2 (Cat C) license.
• Up-to-date CPC required.
• Digi/Tachograph Card required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and empty multiple waste containers.
• Input all information into onboard system and keep paperwork up to date daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.
• Ensure carriageway is clean and spills are cleaned.

What you’ll be doing;

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

What we’re looking for;
