Job summary

Veolia is hiring a driver at Wembley (HA0 1ER) to operate the fleet and collect waste from planned locations. The role requires a Class 2 licence, Digi/Tachograph Card and CPC, with day and night shifts on a Monday to Friday pattern.

You will input data into the onboard system, perform daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with traffic rules and load regulations. Veolia offers a generous benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Essential: valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Digi/Tachograph Card required.
• Up-to-date CPC required.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Inputting all information into the onboard system and submitting paperwork daily.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks per driver operator handbook.
• Complying with traffic laws and load weight regulations.

Potential OTE of up to £54,411.22 per annum based on Salary of £44,744.15 per annum plus Veolia benefits

£5.00 daily meal allowance

Single person allowance - Earn an extra £41.16 daily when you complete over 110 bins

£48.95 Daily night shift allowance

Day shift 4 am - 2 pm Monday to Friday

Night shift 4pm - 2am Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph Card

Desirable:

• Previous experience in Waste Management
