Job summary

Simply Business in London is seeking a Delivery Operations Lead to optimise how we deliver software. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering to implement global practices, reducing waste and accelerating time-to-market while cutting costs.

This role requires both analytical thinking and hands-on engineering experience. You’ll drive end-to-end workflow improvements, standardise tools, and visualise core metrics, enabling leadership to make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints to software delivery.
• Hands-on data or software engineering experience (2+ years).
• Strong Jira administration and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to overhaul end-to-end workflows and remove bottlenecks.
• Build and maintain dynamic workflow maps to expose blockers and system impacts.
• Standardise and automate tools across Shared Services for discovery and software delivery lifecycles.
• Analyze throughput, lead time, and cycle time to drive data-backed improvements.
• Utilize Jira, BI tools, and developer tooling to visualise process health and quantify impact of changes.
• Empower teams with self-service tooling and data advocacy to promote continuous improvement.
