Job summary

GTR are looking for a Driver Manager based at Barnham Train Crew Depot. You will lead a team of drivers to deliver a high performing workforce aligned with safety, performance and customer service standards.

You’ll handle performance reviews, welfare, and disciplinary matters while promoting a professional culture across the depot. The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication and the ability to engage with Trade Union Representatives to maintain constructive working relationships

• Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with Trade Union Representatives
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a designated group of drivers to deliver a high performing workforce.
• Conduct individual performance reviews, briefings, welfare, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Implement customer service standards to raise professionalism across drivers and improve on-board experience.
• Drive team performance through engagement and attendance procedures to improve performance and fairness.
