Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Driver & Maintenance Assistant at St Mary's Hospital in Warrington. You will help keep facilities safe and well-presented, drive staff and service users to local destinations, and support on-site maintenance and repairs as part of a dedicated team.

You’ll receive training and have access to courses to grow your career within a supportive environment that values safety and quality of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK drivers license.
• Have previous experience within a maintenance role.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Show courtesy and respect to residents at all times to ensure that they enjoy the highest quality of service.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose.
• Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users is maintained.
• Assisting in regular checks and maintenance.
• Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
• Assisting in all decorating.
• Liaising with a manager reporting all faults and defects.
