GAP Group, a leading hire specialist, is recruiting for a Labourer/Driver to join GAP Pump & Power Services Division. You will help maintain a clean depot, check equipment, and ensure safe, timely delivery and collection of equipment to customers.

The ideal candidate has a valid full driving licence, may hold a forklift licence, and understands health and safety protocols. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential for success.

Formación

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment.
• Forklift Licence would be highly beneficial.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Keep all depot areas clean and tidy daily.
• Ensure equipment leaving the depot is checked and maintained to a high standard.
• Deliver and collect Pump & Power equipment to and from GAP Group customers in a timely manner.

GAP Pump & Power Services Division provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

Working in the heart of the depot the Labourer/Driver will be responsible for keeping all areas clean and tidy day in day out, and ensuring that any equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to the highest standards. You will also ensure timeous professional delivery and collection of Pump & Power Equipment to and from GAP Group customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working within a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment
• Forklift Licence would be highly beneficial
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Full driving licence is essential
