Job summary

Burdens, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting for a full-time HGV Driver with HIAB based in Newmains.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, deliver and collect civils materials, and represent the business to customers with high standards.

The role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £34,500 plus Bonus and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card required.
• Digital Tacho card experience.
• Capable of using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB, safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Build excellent relationships with customers and represent the business to high standards.
• Adhere to Health and Safety; perform daily vehicle/equipment checks and report defects.

As a HGV Driver based in Newmains youll be responsible for:

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
