Job summary

Wolseley through Burdens in Newmains, Scotland, is hiring a Delivery Driver 18T-23T with HIAB. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB, delivering and collecting civils materials for the construction sector, and you will build strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card required.
• Digital Tachograph (Tacho) card experience.
• Capable of using handheld devices and fleet tech.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect civils materials for construction sites.
• Build strong relationships with customers and uphold company standards.
• Perform daily vehicle and load safety checks and report defects.

As a HGV Driver based in Newmains you’ll be responsible for:

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
