Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Preston on a full-time, six-month fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage deliveries and liaise with customers, providing updates and assistance with queries while meeting set targets.
• Follow directions from the Branch Manager, Workshop, Parts Controller, or Sales Manager.
• Clean, valet, and prepare new and used vehicles to high standards.
• Operate steam cleaners and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Manage stock of supplies for vehicle valeting.
• Present and maintain vehicle lineup for display standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
• Assist with workshop housekeeping and maintenance.
• Collect and deliver customer vehicles efficiently and courteously.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. A valid Class 1 license is required.
