Job description

Vacuum Tanker Driver

We are seeking an experienced Vacuum Tanker Driver to support our client based in Ellesmere Port. Our client is a well-established UK business providing quality and reliable waste management and drainage services across the North West.

The main purpose of this role is to drive and operate specialist vacuum tanker vehicles for the transport and disposal of non-hazardous waste, ensuring all work is performed to a high standard, safely, and in compliance with regulations, while maintaining customer satisfaction.

This is a temporary position lasting approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Drive vacuum tankers to collect and transport waste from septic tanks, treatment works/plants, and cesspits.
2. Complete paperwork such as timesheets, logbooks, and waste transfer notes.

Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• At least 2 years of HGV driving experience
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills with customers and colleagues
• Hardworking and flexible attitude
• CSCS Card (desirable but not essential)

Expected hours of work: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:30.
