Job summary

Orbis Education & Care is recruiting a Support Worker for Forestry House, near Neath, to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a rural residential setting.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive as part of daily support duties; full training is provided. Sleep‑ins paid separately with progression opportunities and funded training.

Qualifications

• This Support Worker role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable and confident behind the wheel.
• No previous experience is required — full training is provided.
• Enhanced DBS with barred list check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with daily living to promote wellbeing.
• Drive individuals to appointments, activities and community visits.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
• Encourage independence and develop everyday life skills.
• Work as part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
• Complete daily records and relevant documentation.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning and general household tasks.
