Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is hiring a Driver Debriefer in Stoke-on-Trent to join our transport team on a full-time basis. You will provide general administration support to the Transport Department, including timesheets, POD handling, and despatch paperwork, in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires excellent accuracy, strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining team collaboration and delivering to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience providing admin support in a transport/logistics environment.
• Strong communication and organisation skills with attention to detail.
• proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check timesheets for accuracy and ensure PODs are complete.
• Scan and store PODs using the document management system.
• Prepare drivers' wallets and issue delivery notes in drop sequence.

Job description

Our friendly transport team in Stoke on Trent have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join their team on a full time permanent basis! As a Driver Debriefer you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.,

• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina's document management system.
• Preparing drivers' wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers' cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
• Ensure all trailers are tracked.

• Positive and adaptable attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually.
