Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Swansea is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team and help keep operations running smoothly. This full-time, permanent role starts early with shifts Monday–Friday, 05:00–07:00, delivering goods safely and on time.

Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence (C), Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card; ideally 6 months' recent driving experience. The role involves manual handling of heavy kegs and occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience.
• Regular manual handling of heavy kegs required; physical capability to perform duties safely.
• Willing to work 5 or 6 Saturdays per year when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintain logs.
• Manually handle Alcohol Kegs as part of routine duties.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of Alcohol Kegs

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
• Due to the nature of the role, regular manual handling of heavy kegs is required. Applicants should be capable of meeting the physical demands of the position safely and effectively.
• Can work 5 or 6 Saturdays in a year when required.
