Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Doncaster is seeking a professional Class 2 HGV Driver for a permanent, full-time role with structured Monday–Friday start times at 07:00.

You will multi-drop residential and commercial deliveries, operate electric pallet trucks and a tail lift, and uphold safety standards under Driver CPC and Tachograph requirements. Excellent customer service and route discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (Category C) with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage routes.
• Comfort with manual handling and pallet movement.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop delivery of tiles and associated products to homes and businesses.
• Operate electric pallet trucks and HIAB as needed.
• Drive safely in line with Drivers' Hours Regulations.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and vehicle checks.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Multi-drop delivery of tiles and kitchen/bathroom products to residential addresses, building sites and businesses
• Use of electric pallet trucks or HIAB to assist with the movement and unloading of pallets
• Driving safely and efficiently in accordance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, adhering to The Highway Code and vehicle compliance requirements
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly

This Role Would Suit People Who

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have at least 12 months' recent Class 2 driving experience
• Take pride in delivering excellent customer service
• Can work independently and manage their route effectively
• Are comfortable with manual handling activities and the use of electric pallet trucks
• Have experience using a tail lift and/or electric pallet truck (desirable)
