Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL Group, via DHL Supply Chain, is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver in Rugby (CV23). This permanent, full-time role features a 5 on 3 off shift pattern and a starting pay of £38,393.58 plus shift premium and overtime.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C) and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Preferably 12 months of recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and Highway Code.
• Complete regular vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
• Drive a 26T refrigerated vehicle with tail-lift.
• Complete 4-6 drops a day to BP forecourts.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Driving a 26T refrigerated vehicle with tail-lift
• Completing 4-6 Drops a day to BP forecourts

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
