Job summary

DHL is seeking a Class 2 Driver for Morrisons Allington in ME16 0LE. The successful candidate will make multi-drop deliveries, drive safely within hours regulations, and adhere to health and safety standards.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 42 hours per week
Shift patterns: 2 rotas available 4 on, 4 off & 5 on 3 off (Start times between 4 & 8am)

We're now looking for Class 2 Drivers at Morrisons Allington to play a key role in ensuring our operations run efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

• Multi-drop store deliveries of cages and pallets to customer premises to locations in the South East region including Central London
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards, including The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly completing vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products including pushing cages of up to 400 kg

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Are physically fit, as this role involves high levels of manual handling.
