Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for Exeter, EX1 3QN to help keep our operations running smoothly. A typical day involves safe driving, compliance with driving hours regulations and regular vehicle checks, with manual handling of customer products.

We value qualified drivers with a valid HGV license, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card; 6 months experience preferred though newly qualified drivers will be considered. Interviews planned in coming weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 driving license (C), Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience; newly qualified drivers considered.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products.
