Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an LGV C+E Dray Driver to join our team in Birmingham. In this active role, you'll deliver alcoholic beverages, ensuring safe and efficient transport while adhering to health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold an HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and have previous dray experience, whilst being comfortable with manual handling. We offer a permanent full-time position with competitive benefits including 25 days annual leave and an employer pension

• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Previous dray experience is an advantage.
• Drivers should have a minimum of 6 months on the road LGV commercial driving experience.

• Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers.
• Comply with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Carry out between 10-17 drops to public houses.
• Work with a driver's mate and handle kegs and barrels.

Pay Rate: LGV C+E - £42,949 per annum based on a 46 hour week

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - start times available between 04:00-09:00

Location: Trade Team, Hams Hall, Birmingham - B46 1TT

What are the Requirements?

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Duties involve the delivery of alcoholic beverages - previous dray experience is an advantage
• Role involve heavy manual handling of kegs and barrels of beer - including deliveries to public house cellars
• Shift is Monday to Friday and start times are available between 04:00-09:00
• Candidates are contacted to work a minimum of 6 Saturdays per year
• Carry out between 10-17 drops to public houses - work involves manual handling and working with a drivers mate
• Drivers ideally will have a minimum of 6 months on the road LGV commercial driving experience
