Job summary

Esteemed Life Care in Coventry is seeking a Care Worker (Sponsorship Switching) for full-time, permanent fieldwork delivering domiciliary care. You will work in clients' homes and the community providing personal care, companionship, and support with medications, while traveling between visits within the Coventry area.

The role requires weekend availability, a valid UK driving licence (or international licence with 1+ year left), and English communication skills.

Qualifications

Must have a driver’s license to apply.
Full UK driving licence or international licence with at least one year remaining.
At least 1 year of home-care experience.
Available to work weekends.
Willing to travel between clients’ homes.
Good spoken and written English.
Reliable, honest and responsible.
Basic cooking skills.
Able to work effectively as part of a care team.
Willing to work full-time, in person, in the Coventry area.

Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care to clients in their own homes and the community.
Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
Support clients with medications per care plans and procedures.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with light domestic duties such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting and meal prep.
Help clients attend appointments and participate in community activities.
Travel between clients’ homes to deliver care services.
