The role:

As an HGV Cat C1 7.5t Driver, you’ll be committed to delivering outstanding service. You’ll be professional, driven, and enthusiastic. Reporting to the branch management team, you will provide high-level service to both internal and external customers, delivering products within tight deadlines. You will interact with customers, deliver goods, and resolve any issues that arise. Our drivers are vital to our branch teams and may also assist in branch duties such as serving on the trade counter and handling customer calls to ensure excellent service and sales. We value an inclusive team environment and believe you’ll enjoy your time with us.

Please note, this role requires a valid HGV Cat C1 driving license for 7.5t vehicles, CPC certification, and previous driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain health and safety standards for yourself and your vehicle
• Ensure the vehicle's maintenance and condition are up to standard
• Report issues or incidents to your line manager
• Comply with transport laws and regulations
• Support the Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets while maintaining good margins
• Maintain high service standards, build customer loyalty, and ensure first-class service
• Assist with branch duties such as serving customers, telesales, and maintaining housekeeping standards on the trade counter and in warehousing

You:

Along with a clean Cat C1 (7.5t) driving license, previous driving experience and product knowledge in our industry are advantageous. You should thrive on providing excellent customer service and supporting your branch colleagues.
