Job description

Come and join us as an HGV Driver 7.5t Cat C1 to help us grow, deliver sales, and exceed customer expectations.

As a 7.5t Driver, you’ll be committed to delivering outstanding service, and you’ll be professional, driven, and enthusiastic. The LGV 7.5t Driver role reports to the branch management team and involves providing the highest level of service to internal and external customers, delivering products within tight deadlines. As a PTS HGV Cat C1 7.5t Driver, you will interact with customers, deliver goods, and resolve any issues that arise. Our 7.5t Drivers are vital to our branch teams and may assist in branch activities such as serving on the trade counter and handling customer calls, ensuring excellent service and sales opportunities. You’ll naturally promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and enjoy a fun, engaging workplace.

Please note, this role requires an appropriate HGV C1 driving licence, CPC, and previous driving experience.

Responsibilities

1. Health and safety: Ensure safety of yourself and your vehicle.
2. Vehicle maintenance: Maintain vehicle condition and report issues.
3. Compliance: Follow transport laws and regulations.
4. Operations: Pick orders and load vehicles.
5. Sales support: Support the Branch Manager with sales targets and customer service.
6. Branch support: Assist with branch and warehouse duties, including serving customers and maintaining standards.

Ideally, you will have a clean Cat C driving licence, previous driving experience, and industry product knowledge is a plus. You should thrive on delivering excellent customer service and supporting your colleagues.
