GXO Logistics, Inc. in Avonmouth (BS11 0YD) is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent role. Typical day starts around 05:00 with 9.2 hours per shift, Monday to Friday, including Bank Holidays. You will deliver Greene King products, perform vehicle checks, and manage paperwork to keep operations running smoothly.

The role offers an annual salary of £40,031.47, pension, holiday pay, 24/7 GP service, and access to GXO University training to support your ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition
• Delivering kegs and small-pack products on the Greene King Drinks side of the business
• Unload stock from cages during deliveries
• Navigate busy city routes while handling challenging parking situations
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to facilitate smooth and efficient operations

The role is full-time and permanent, working 46 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The start time is approximately 05:00, with contracted hours of 9.2 hours per day.

Please note that the working pattern includes Bank Holidays.
