Job summary

GXO is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Middleton operation, delivering multi-temperature products to Greene King pubs. The role follows a 4-on, 3-off pattern with 12-hour shifts, offering a stable full-time contract and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will conduct vehicle checks, ensure safe deliveries, and complete required paperwork, all while maintaining safety and compliance with driving regulations. Great communication and initiative are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Deliver multi-temperature products to Greene King pubs, managing on average 9 drop-offs effectively.
• Unload stock from cages during deliveries.
• Navigate busy city routes while handling challenging parking situations.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
