Job summary

GXO South Normanton (DE55 2DT) is hiring a Class 2 Driver on a full-time, permanent basis. Expect 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times from 4:00 am. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

You will perform multiday retail deliveries, ensuring timely, safe transport of goods while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining records. ADR tanks, CPC, tachograph card required.

Qualifications

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• ADR licence with tanks. All classes except 1 and 7 required.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points.
• Ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods, providing excellent customer service at every drop.
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service during all deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays, issues, or changes during journeys.
• Perform vehicle checks and keeping accurate delivery records.
• Performing occasional warehouse duties as needed.
