Job summary

GXO is seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our Middleton operation delivering multi-temperature products to Greene King pubs. The role follows a 4-on, 3-off pattern with 12-hour shifts, offering a substantial annual salary and benefits.

You will perform vehicle checks, manage deliveries and paperwork, while upholding safety and regulatory standards. This permanent role includes a 33% food and drink discount across Greene King pubs, holiday pay, pension, and access to GXO University

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Deliver multi-temperature products to Greene King pubs, managing on average 9 drop-offs effectively.
• Unload stock from cages during deliveries.
• Navigate busy city routes while handling challenging parking situations.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
