Job summary

Metro Rod West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced drainage repairs engineer to carry out a range of drainage repair works across various customer sites in West Yorkshire. You will install LSRs/patch liners, reconfigure manhole channelling, and repair drainage channels, with post-repair CCTV surveys to ensure quality.

Applicants must have hands-on experience, a practical problem-solving approach, and a full clean driving licence.

Salary: £17.00 per hour + paid driving time + overtime at 1.25 times the hourly rate

The role:

You’ll carry out a range of drainage repair works, including:

• Installing localised structural repairs (LSRs/patch liners).
• Reconfiguring manhole channelling and replacing manhole covers and frames.
• Repairing or replacing ACO drainage channels and gullies.
• Completing post-repair CCTV surveys to check the quality of completed works.
• Carrying out hand excavations up to 1 metre deep.

About you

We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in the repairs listed above, a practical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to high standards of workmanship.

You’ll take pride in working safely, looking after customer sites and representing Metro Rod professionally.

You will need a full clean driving license and will cover the West Yorkshire area.
