Job summary

Metro Rod Sussex & Kent is seeking a Reactive Drainage Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside one of our senior Engineers, tackling 2-man jobs and performing emergency drainage services such as cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance for our customers.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, flexibility to cover on-call out-of-hours, and living in the Sussex/Kent area. This is a full-time permanent position within a fast-growing Franchise Brands group.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic drainage activities such as unblocks.
• Willingness to work occasional / unsociable hours.
• Positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
• Live in Sussex/Kent area and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Tackle 2-man jobs as part of a team with another Engineer.
• Carry out emergency services including cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of customer assets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their drainage career. Working alongside one of our senior Engineers, you will learn, grow and develop with us - giving you all the support you need to ensure you become a successful Drainage Engineer and be part of our growing business!

What's involved?

• Working as team alongside one of our existing Engineers tackling 2-man jobs
• Carry out a range of services associated with our emergency services offering, cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of our customer’s assets new and old
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
• Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment
• Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems
• Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times
• Have a positive and helpful can-do attitude
• Cover normal working hours and "on call" out-of-hours on a rota basis and have a flexible attitude to covering emergency situations when called upon outside of the these periods
