Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps with energy, warmth and care. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, perform safety checks, follow planned routes, and assist in-store when not on deliveries.

Applicants must be over 18, hold a UK driving licence for 12+ months with up to 6 points, and have Right to Work in the UK. AI camera monitoring is in place for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Ability to drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and deliver groceries safely and on time

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at each doorstep delivering groceries with friendliness and care
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensure on-time, safe deliveries
• Carry out pre-delivery checks on the van and ensure goods are secure
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varied locations and conditions
• Assist across the store when not delivering as needed
