Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced Home Delivery Driver to join our team. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers doorsteps, ensuring on-time, careful delivery and excellent customer service.

When not on the road you’ll help across the store as needed, learn about our products and promotions, and contribute to a safe, efficient delivery operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 with a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months and no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on-time and in good condition
• Completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean and roadworthy and deliveries are secure
• Serving customers, answering questions and substitutions, and updating on any delays
• Building knowledge about products, services and promotions to offer recommendations
• When not delivering, helping across the store as needed
