Job summary

FGH Security is seeking a Door Supervisor for the Roundhouse venue in Camden. The role focuses on delivering a high level of security with a customer-service mindset.

An SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required, with duties spanning guest screening, crowd management, and incident response. You will be part of a team dedicated to keeping guests safe, while maintaining a smart appearance and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence required.
• Experience in security is preferred.
• 5 year employment evidence required during screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Provide visible security presence while staying approachable.
• Manage entry for front and backstage areas and guest lists.
• Assess guest suitability and monitor behaviour in line with policies.
• Ensure safe venue capacity and dispersal of crowds.
• Patrol the venue and conduct occasional searches.
• Deter entry for unsuitable guests and intervene if needed.
• Assist in emergencies including evacuations and first aid.

About The Role

Position: Door Supervisor - Roundhouse

Hourly rate: £15.00 - £15.30 plus holiday pay (FGH Group operates a holiday accrual scheme in line with the government guidelines at 12.07%)

We are looking for customer service focused Door Supervisors who champion our values to join our team at Roundhouse in Camden.

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required for this role.

Your main duties will include:

• Greet and assist guests with courtesy, professionalism, and a customer-first approach.
• Provide visible security presence while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Front and backstage/back-of-house entry search and guest list admittance.
• Assess the suitability of guests and monitor behaviour in line with policies/legal requirements.
• Ensuring the venue operates to a safe capacity and crowds are dispersed appropriately.
• Patrolling the venue and undertaking occasional physical searches of guests.
• Requiring guests to leave the venue and/or refusing entry to guests when behaviour/suitability is not in line with house-rules/policies. On occasions, this may require physical intervention.
• Handle incidents discreetly and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
• Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations, first aid, or coordinating with emergency services.
• Protection of assets.
• Discreet security services.
• Risk Mitigation.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, guest interactions, and daily security activities.
• Collaborate with front-of-house, housekeeping, and management teams to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

• SIA Door Supervision Licence.
• Experience in the security industry (preferred).

During screening you must be able to provide evidence of 5 year employment.
