Job summary

Scotsman Group is seeking professional Door Supervisors to join our security team across venues in Edinburgh. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming yet secure environment for guests.

Key duties include crowd management, conflict resolution, and ensuring safety at all times. A valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge is mandatory, with ~2 years of relevant experience preferred. Shifts include late nights and weekends.

The Role:

We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to join our dynamic team of Security Staff in our venues. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests at our venues. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they are greeted with a friendly and approachable manner, while also managing access and handling any security-related issues.

Role Responsibilities:

As part of the security team, your role will include:

• Monitoring and managing crowds and queues
• Dealing with conflict; restraining and escorting customers off of the premises if required
• Ensuring the safety of customers and staff at all times

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge is mandatory for this role
• 2 years experience within a similar role would be preferred.
• Great communication and customer service skills with the ability to diffuse high tension situations.
• Availability to work shifts, including late nights and weekends at key times during the year.
