Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Limited in Lisburn seeks an experienced Software & Certification Development Engineer to translate drawings and specs into accurate production data. You will work across CAD/CAM, CNC and project teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliant deliverables.

In this role you will interpret architectural drawings, prepare manufacturing packs, support CNC programming, and coordinate with contractors and customers to meet timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience using CAD/CAM software and reading engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally doors or sheet metal.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings, door schedules and specifications for doors and ASSA ABLOY products.
• Review project information, identify missing requirements and raise RFIs.
• Prepare manufacturing packs with drawings, BOMs, hardware schedules and CAD/CAM data.
• Support CNC programming with CAD/CAM data and drawings.
• Collaborate with Production to resolve queries and improve machining efficiency.
• Communicate technical requirements that affect manufacture, delivery or installation.
• Assist with project timelines and documentation including As-Built drawings and O&M.
