Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd is recruiting a CAD/CAM Engineer for a North East manufacturer. You will produce 2D and 3D drawings, develop manufacturing information, create CNC programmes and support the shop floor to ensure on-time, high-quality production.

The role requires experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing engineering, a strong CAD/CAM background, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs while collaborating with production and engineering teams to drive continuous

CAD/CAM Engineer

An established North East manufacturer is looking to recruit a CAD/CAM Engineer to join their engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in sheet metal, fabrication or manufacturing engineering who enjoys working closely with production and seeing projects through from concept to manufacture.

The role will involve producing engineering drawings, developing manufacturing information, creating CNC programmes and supporting the shop floor to ensure products are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Generate CNC programmes and production packs
• Support production teams with technical and manufacturing queries
• Manage BOMs and engineering data

About You

• RADAN experience
• AutoCAD or Inventor experience
