Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across Doncaster partnership secondary schools, with day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term assignments.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared work, manage behaviour, and support students' learning, adapting to different classrooms and year groups. Flexible, reliable candidates are encouraged to apply.

Doncaster Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term Assignments

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across our fantastic partnership secondary schools in Doncaster.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply, want to get stuck into a short-term assignment, or are searching for a long-term opportunity, we've got something for you!

What will you be doing?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be the friendly face at the front of the classroom, helping keep students engaged and learning when their usual teacher is unavailable.

Your day could include:

• Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared work


• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment


• Ensuring students complete the work set by their teacher


• Supporting and encouraging students with their learning


• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns


• Working across a variety of secondary schools and year groups


• Building positive relationships with students and school staff


• Adapting to different classrooms, subjects and school environments

What are we looking for?

• Experience working with children or young people


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong classroom management and behaviour-management skills


• The confidence to lead a classroom independently

• A genuine desire to support young people and their education

Previous school experience is a bonus, but we're happy to consider candidates from a range of backgrounds. If you've worked in youth settings, coaching, tutoring, education, childcare, mentoring or similar roles, we'd love to hear from you!
