Job summary

Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools throughout Doncaster. The role involves supervising classes, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent.

Temporary, term-time position with daily rates between £92.56 and £110, inclusive of holiday pay. DBS required or obtainable; work across multiple schools in the Doncaster area with duties varying by setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cover Supervisor accreditation or an equivalent Level 4/5 certification.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a readiness to obtain one.
• Two professional references confirming experience as a Cover Supervisor.

Job description

Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

Position: Cover Supervisor
Employment Type: Temporary, during term time only (Monday to Friday)
Placement: Multiple educational settings in the Doncaster area
Salary: £92.56 - £110 per day, including accrued holiday entitlement. Higher rates may be offered based on prior experience, credentials, and individual school budgets.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when regular teaching staff are unavailable.

Key Duties

• Supervise entire classes and facilitate learning across a range of year groups during teacher planning periods.
• Provide focused support sessions and deliver lessons that have been prepared in advance.
• Assist with the practical application of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), collaborating with Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to tailor materials and monitor student development.
