Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across Doncaster secondary schools, delivering pre-prepared work and supporting learning on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis.

You'll supervise classes, manage behaviour and keep students engaged when the usual teacher is unavailable, building positive relationships with pupils and staff while adapting to different subjects and year groups.

Responsibilities

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across our fantastic partnership secondary schools in Doncaster.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply, want to get stuck into a short-term assignment, or are searching for a long-term opportunity, we've got something for you!

What will you be doing?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be the friendly face at the front of the classroom, helping keep students engaged and learning when their usual teacher is unavailable.

• Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared work
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Ensuring students complete the work set by their teacher
• Supporting and encouraging students with their learning
• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns
• Working across a variety of secondary schools and year groups
