Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a domiciliary optometrist in the United Kingdom to take eye care directly to patients at their homes across the eastern coast region, covering areas around Edinburgh and nearby towns. You’ll register with the GOC and must have a full driving license, enabling flexible field-based work and patient-centred service.

The role offers a competitive salary starting at £35,000 plus a £10,000 welcome bonus, a company car or allowance, generous annual leave, and access to Specsavers

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a domiciliary optometrist at Specsavers, you can do just that. You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Our business

Based on the east coast, covering areas such as Edinburgh, Livingstone, Haddington, Peebles,Galashiels etc, you’ll cover a given territory, providing care to patients in their own homes.

Our cars

You’ll be provided with a company car (or allowance) to bring your care directly to people’s homes.
