Job summary

Specsavers is recruiting a domiciliary optometrist to take eye care directly to patients at home across the UK. You will drive to patient homes, perform comprehensive eye exams, and support patients with basic tasks to improve daily living.

The role offers a competitive base salary, a company car or allowance, and a generous benefits package. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Full driving license required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a domiciliary optometrist at Specsavers, you can do just that. You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Our business

Based on the east coast, covering areas such as Edinburgh, Livingstone, Haddington, Peebles,Galashiels etc, you’ll cover a given territory, providing care to patients in their own homes.

Our cars

You’ll be provided with a company car (or allowance) to bring your care directly to people’s homes.

We do need you to have a couple of things to get started in this role.Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date) and you must have a full driving license.
