Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to bring eye care directly to patients at their homes across the assigned region. You will drive the service to doorstep care, combining clinical excellence with compassionate support to people who cannot visit stores.

The role includes a company car or allowance, with flexibility for full or part-time work, and a strong emphasis on customer service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council and keep details up to date.
• Must have a full driving licence.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a domiciliary optometrist at Specsavers, you can do just that. You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Our business

Based on the east coast, covering areas such as Edinburgh, Livingstone, Haddington, Peebles,Galashiels etc, you’ll cover a given territory, providing care to patients in their own homes.

You’ll be provided with a company car (or allowance) to bring your care directly to people’s homes.
