Job summary

Anderson Wright Consulting is seeking an experienced Care Manager to oversee a domiciliary care service based in Glasgow and Lockerbie. You will lead the office and care teams, manage staffing, care planning, and ensure safe, person-centred care with regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and Scottish Health & Social Care Standards, plus relevant registrations.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• SSSC registration or working towards registration.
• SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate requirements and Scottish Health & Social Care Standards.
• Training in Health & Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Moving & Handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of domiciliary care service.
• Lead and support office staff and care workers.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and policies.
• Maintain high care standards and effective service delivery.
• Plan staffing levels and workforce scheduling.
