Job summary

Nexxus Care is seeking Care Assistants to deliver domiciliary care in Cannock and surrounding areas, covering Saturday and Sunday mornings and evenings. You will support individuals to remain independent at home, with training provided at our Cannock hub.

This weekend contract requires a caring, compassionate approach, with duties including personal care, meals, medication support, and domestic tasks. Driving licence and DBS clearance are required.

• Drivers licence and access to a car are essential.
• Enhanced DBS check and onboarding process required.

About The Role

Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care- Cannock and surrounding

Are you caring, compassionate and wanting to make a real difference to the lives of others?

This is a weekend contract which will require you to work every weekend Saturday and Sunday both morning and tea round.

Mornings - 7am - 2pm

Evenings - 3pm - 10pm

As a care assistant you will provide care to individuals in their own home to ensure they remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.

The role will include support with:

• Double up calls
• Assisting clients with personal care tasks - washing, showering and toileting
• Promoting dignity
• Medication administration
• Preparing meals and supporting clients during eating and drinking, where required
• Domestic help including laundry and general cleaning
• Monitoring changes in clients wellbeing, mobility or behaviour
