Nexxus Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide domiciliary care in the Uttoxeter area and surrounding locations. You will support clients at home, helping with personal care, meal preparation and daily tasks to promote independence and dignity.

The role includes monitoring wellbeing, documenting observations, and contributing to a high standard of home-based care. Training is provided; drivers licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• DBS check required and enhanced DBS completed
• Driver's license and access to a car essential
• Full training provided at Cannock training hub

Responsabilités

• Providing personal care in clients' homes (washing, showering, toileting)
• Promoting dignity and independence
• Medication administration support as needed
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Domestic tasks including laundry and light cleaning
• Monitoring wellbeing and noting changes for reports
• Accurate documentation of duties and observations

About The Role

Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care- Uttoxeter and surrounding area

We currently have vacancies for full time domiciliary care assistants to work both morning and tea shifts with alternate weekends

As a care assistant you will provide care to individuals in their own home to ensure they remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.

The role will include support with:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks - washing, showering and toileting
• Promoting dignity
• Medication administration
• Preparing meals and supporting clients during eating and drinking, where required
• Domestic help including laundry and general cleaning
• Monitoring changes in clients wellbeing, mobility or behaviour
• Ensuring accurate documentation of any duties completed and observations

FULL TRAINING IS PROVIDED AT OUR DEDICATED TRAINING HUB IN CANNOCK.
