Job summary

Alongside is a charity focused on helping vulnerable people, including those affected by domestic abuse. We seek a Domestic Violence and Abuse Co-ordinator to support victims, assess needs, and develop tailored plans to help rebuild lives with trauma-informed case management and advocacy.

You'll work across Wiltshire, providing resettlement support, safeguarding, and collaborative multi-agency advocacy while maintaining detailed client records and offering compassionate, individualized

Qualifications

• Understanding of domestic abuse including the impact this has on victims and their children.
• Experience working in a housing, social or health care setting.
• We welcome applications from people with lived experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct key works sessions on a regular basis whilst developing individual support and risk management plans.
• Establish the risks and needs of survivors and their children through assessing their practical and emotional support needs.
• Champion safeguarding by following policies and procedures to keep everyone safe, and that any concerns are brought to immediate attention of a manager.
• Collaborative multi-agency working to advocate for survivors ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintain accurate client records using our system, INFORM.
