Job summary

South West Community Chaplaincy in Bath is seeking a Domestic Violence and Abuse Co-ordinator to support victims and survivors, conducting in-depth needs assessments and developing tailored plans. You will provide trauma-informed case management and resettlement support across housing and social needs, walking with survivors every step toward safety and dignity.

This deeply rewarding role involves safeguarding, multi-agency collaboration, and empowering clients to move forward.

Qualifications

• Understanding of domestic abuse including the impact on victims and children.
• Experience working in housing, social or health care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct key works sessions and develop individual support and risk management plans.
• Establish the risks and needs of survivors and their children through assessing practical and emotional support needs.
• Champion safeguarding by following policies and procedures and reporting concerns to a manager.
• Collaborative multi-agency working to advocate for survivors and meet needs.
• Maintain accurate client records using INFORM.
