Shaw healthcare is seeking a Domestic Supervisor for West View in Tenterden, Kent. The role leads a domestic team to keep the home clean, safe and welcoming for residents in dementia, residential and respite care.

You will ensure high cleanliness and organized work, supervise tasks, and maintain dignity and comfort for residents while working with the team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• An experienced cleaner, housekeeper or domestic team member.
• Confident and supportive team leader.
• Organised and able to prioritise effectively.
• Notices the small details and maintains high standards.
• Reliable, professional and takes pride in quality work.
• Willing to work independently and use initiative.
• Confident communicating with colleagues, residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the domestic team on a daily basis.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Ensure residents' rooms and communal areas are clean and welcoming.
• Organise workloads and allocate tasks to run the service smoothly.
• Support and develop domestic team members.
• Oversee laundry processes and ensure efficiency.
• Follow COSHH and health and safety procedures.
